A Helping Hand to Wayne County Families
The Wooster Hope Center touches hundreds of families each week, thanks to our volunteers and supporters.
The Greater Wayne County Food Pantry serves hundreds of families each week, providing meals to combat food insecurity. Hours are Noon to 3 pm Wednesdays, 6-8 pm Thursdays, 10-Noon Fridays.
The Wooster Hope Center endeavors to alleviate transportation challenges for families with its mobile food pantry to take the food to the people in the northern part of Wayne County.
The Wayne County Hygiene Pantry offers area residents have been able to pick up hygiene items, like toothpaste and soap. Free haircuts available, too.
The Wooster Hope Center helps feed families around the county with the help of volunteers and area schools with the Backpack of Food Program.
The Wooster Hope Center provides food to the Wooster Community Kitchen and other community groups to fill community food boxes around the county.
The Wooster Hope Center partners with the government to offer senior citizens boxes of food to help supplement their groceries.
At the Wooster Hope Center, we cannot do what we do without the help of volunteers and donors. We are an all-volunteer organization, including the executive director and pantry manager. We can always use volunteers.
